Membership Criteria
To
be considered for membership in Black Agency Executives,
the following criteria must be demonstrated:
- Ancestral linkage to the African Diaspora
and the highest ranking executive in their organization.
- Past history of dedication to improving
the lives of people of color in general and black people
in particular.
- Expertise that could prove beneficial to
the mission of BAE and proves equally beneficial to people
of color in general and black people in particular.
- Individual must demonstrate an internalized
and on-going commitment to the development of him/herself
and his/her peers in BAE, must demonstrate commitment
to the mission of BAE , and to on-going development and
improvement of the lives of people in color in general
and black people in particular.
- Individual must demonstrate his/her emotional,
spiritual, intellectual and professional commitment to
the mission and agenda of BAE.
- Individual agrees to pay yearly dues on
a timely basis.
- Individual agree to attend two-third of
all scheduled General Membership meetings.
- Individual agrees to actively participate
on at least one of BAE's standing committees.
- Individual agrees to support in whole,
or in part, all of BAE's scheduled functions (i.e. yearly
retreat, MLK Luncheon, forums, etc.)
